“Messy. Very messy.” Sigourney Weaver’s Colonel Ward says it best/worst, whilst talking about @starwars: The Mandalorian and Grogu. It’s got a 70s TV show vibe, small in stature and reeking of Disney’s watered-down touch. This includes the cheesy CGI, episodic pace & Ludwig Göransson’s dreadful score. The Star Wars we grew up with appears dead, long live whatever you call this. It’s certainly not what I consider magical, yet alone entertaining.
