IMDb Plot: The story of the famous musician Michael Jackson, known as the King of Pop. Directed by Antoine Fuqua.
@michaelmovie is no easy task. @michaeljackson's story can't be told in 2 hours, so hats off to Antoine Fuqua for getting the first half right. Is it complete? Hardly. So much so, you need a sequel (perhaps even 2) to do it justice, but there's plenty to like (@JaafarJackson, Juliano Krue Valdi & surefire Oscar-nom @colmandomingo) as well as some of the great songs. At its core, the movie's about Michael's quest for freedom, but it only whets our appetite for more.
Grade: B+ (The more I thought about it, the more I liked it.)
