Joel Edgerton delivers an earnest/memorable performance in @traindreamsfilm, an Oscar hopeful with Terrence Malick vibes and a not-so-friendly reminder about how hard it was living in the early 20th century. It’s equal parts beautiful and sobering, leaning (heavily) towards the latter in the second half. If you think 🤔 your job is rough, watch this.
