Washington Signs Tristan Vukčević to Multi-Year Contract

Team also signs Leaky Black to two-way contract 

The Washington Wizards announced today they have signed forward/center Tristan Vukčević to a multi-year NBA contract and forward Leaky Black to a two-way contract.

Vukčević, was drafted 42nd overall by Washington in the 2023 NBA Draft. He has averaged 8.6 points and 3.3 rebounds per game in 80 appearances (10 starts) over his three seasons with the Wizards.

In 35 outings (five starts) this season, the Serbian national is averaging 7.9 points and 2.7 rebounds per game on .478 shooting from the floor.

Black (6-6, 209) is in his third professional season, and his second with the NBA G League Capital City Go-Go. In 35 starts with the Go-Go this season, he is averaging 10.4 points, 7.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 1.9 steals per game. Black’s 67 steals lead the team and rank sixth in the G League. 

Black was a member of the Charlotte Hornets during the 2023-24 season, where he appeared in 26 games. The North Carolina product spent the 2025-26 preseason with the Wizards before joining Capital City.
