IMDb Plot: Grace, a writer and young mother, is slowly slipping into madness. Locked away in an old house in and around Montana, we see her acting increasingly agitated and erratic, leaving her companion, Jackson, increasingly worried and helpless. Directed by Lynne Ramsay.
Remember Mother!? That was Jennifer Lawrence’s worst movie ever, before Die My Love. Not sure how she finds these movies (or how they find her) but unless you fancy watching her suffer through PPD & psychosis for two hours (in dreary Montana, no less) I suggest staying far far away. Mind you, it has nothing to do with JLaw’s acting chops (which are still uniquely first rate) but this isn’t my idea of entertainment.
Grade: D- ((I could literally watch JLaw all day, but this was rough.)
