Someone labeled Kathryn Bigelow’s @house_dynamite a “cautionary” tale. The only caution ⚠️ I have, is that it doesn’t have an ending. The first act is stellar, but rather than run its (countless) stories simultaneously, Bigelow ruins the experience not once, not twice, but thrice, shattering any chance of success in the process. It’s an unforgivable offense, that oozes cowardice & incompetence. Note to all involved: Leave the moviemaking to professionals.
Grade: B- (Great first act, great idea, reprehensible execution.)
