IMDb Plot: A fading midwestern town in which Frendo the clown, a symbol of bygone success, reemerges as a terrifying scourge.
Slasher films are usually a risky proposition, but hats off to Eli Craig’s Clown in a Cornfield. It has a surprisingly high production value (given its mere $1 million budget) and enough excitement & gore to hold your interest (til its thankfully brief 96 minute runtime.) Send in the clowns 🤡
