Lidl Grocery Stores Ladle Out Soupergirl Soups
Soupergirl selected as Lidl’s fresh soup provider at all U.S. locations
Soupergirl, the small-batch, all-natural, plant-based soup company, is now available at all 70 Lidl grocery stores in the Mid-Atlantic. Soupergirl developed three new flavors that are available exclusively at Lidl: Black Bean Chili, Lentil Sweet Potato, and Sweet Potato Leek.
After an extensive selection process, Lidl chose Soupergirl to provide fresh soup at every U.S. location.
"Lidl’s commitment to quality and health made partnering with Soupergirl a logical choice,” said Lidl senior purchasing manager Mary Tucker. “Soupergirl is a great local company whose soups fit perfectly into our efforts to add fresh and delicious, plant-based offerings to our customers.”
The fresh soups are now available at all Lidl locations up and down the East Coast, from Georgia to New York. In May, Lidl announced it will soon be opening its flagship location in Washington, at Skyland Town Center in Southeast DC.
