The Watergate Hotel Is Launching a New Breakfast Pop-Up Menu, Featuring Dishes from Four Nationwide-Renowned Restaurants
The Watergate Hotel, the luxurious urban resort in the heart of the Nation’s Capital is bringing four of the nation’s most critically-acclaimed breakfasts hotspots to the city. Beginning September 26th, visitors and locals alike will be able to savor signature dishes from Connie’s Chicken & Waffles in Baltimore, Paperboy in Austin, Blue Collar Restaurant in Miami and Dusek’s in Chicago.
“With the launch of this limited-time initiative, we are adding exclusive items to the Watergate Hotel’s breakfast menu to highlight some of the country’s best breakfast hotspots,”, says Noah Poses, Chef de Cuisine of The Watergate Hotel. “We found unique restaurants across the US and had them chose their most well-known dishes to add versatility to our new menu and establish the hotel as the ultimate breakfast in town.”
The signature dishes being featured are as follows:
• Connie’s Chicken & Waffles, Baltimore, MD: Helmed by brothers Sean and Khari Parker, the restaurant will take one of their best sellers, the Red Velvet Waffle an hour south to meet the demand they have seen in the city for their mouthwatering dishes.
• Paperboy, Austin, TX: will showcase their Texas Hash bringing a little Texan BBQ to DC. Chef Patrick Jackson is bringing southern flame to breakfast with his signature Texas Hash, topped off with braised pork shoulder.
• Blue Collar, Miami, FL: Chef Daniel Serfer’s extraordinary egg sandwich, which features two eggs over easy, a potato latke, white cheddar, bacon, garlic aioli on a sweet Portuguese muffin.
• Dusek’s, Chicago, IL: Chef Michael Galen rounds out the menu with his delectable ricotta beignets that are accompanied by seasonal jam, sliced & toasted almonds and powdered sugar.
All four dishes will be live on the menu beginning September 26th, throughout the fall.
