Justice League Movie Review

Gal Gadot leads the charge in Justice League

Nothing Compares 2 U Marvel

Rotten Tomatoes Plot: Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman's selfless act, Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince (Gal Gadot) to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes (Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash) it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions. Directed by Zack Snyder.

"How many of you are there?" Too many. The DCEU continues to disappoint (with the notable exception of Wonder Woman) in Justice League, a two-hour, $300 million stink bomb. The story (Chris Terrio, Josh Whedon) sucks, and features yet another lame villain (with horns and a legion of flying insect bad guys) and three new superheroes to keep track of, without the benefit of a compelling backstory... or an ounce of charisma. It's pretty (and brighter) to look at, but except for (spoiler) Superman's rushed return, almost unbearable to watch. Adolescent, boring and misogynistic (look closely.) When's it gonna end?

Grade: D
