Escape Velocity made its much-anticipated DC debut (last year's inaugural festival took place at the
National Harbor) this weekend, taking over the
Marriott Wardman Park & Convention Center in Woodley Park for three days of cosplay and science. Friday was fun, but today's impressive turnout (rain notwithstanding) surely secured a return visit next year (and hopefully for years to come.) Just in case you weren't able to make it, here's a few photos to give you a gist of the fun to be had.
