Medieval Times Named Casey Cares Foundation 2017 Champion of Children Award Winner

From our friends at Medieval Times...

In celebration of their continued philanthropic and community efforts, Medieval Times has been named the Casey Cares Foundation 2017 Champion of Children Award Winner. The award will be presented at the 14th annual Casey Cares Golf Tournament on Monday, June 19 at the Hunt Valley Golf Club.

For over a decade, Medieval Times has been supporting the Casey Cares Foundation in an effort to provide a stress-free, exciting and entertaining evening for the families with critically ill children. Medieval Times gifts Casey Cares families with “King’s Royalty Packages,” including priority access to the castle, VIP seating and priority seating access, knight’s rally towel, cheering banner, VIP lanyard and framed entrance group photo, in addition to the two-hour action packed show and four-course meal.

“We are honored to be presented with the 2017 Champion of Children Award from the Casey Cares Foundation,” said Nate Thompson, General Manager of Medieval Times. “Here at Medieval Times, we pride ourselves in giving back to the community and helping those in need. By supporting the Casey Cares Foundation for over a decade, we have been able to create lasting memories for families with critically ill children in the community.”

Medieval Times is committed to helping the communities in which they are located. In addition to hosting charitable organizations at the castle, Medieval Times launched a corporate-wide Chivalry in Action program in 2014, following the devastating typhoon in the Philippines. Since then, Chivalry in Action has grown to be a part of the Medieval Times mission, to be involved throughout the community, helping those in need and providing random acts of kindness.
