Celebrate Easter at Bastille


From our friends at Bastille Restaurant & Wine Bar...

On Sunday, April 16th, Chef/owners of Bastille, Christophe and Michelle Poteaux present a $49 three-course menu from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM, evolving from brunch through dinner, with brunch entrees available until 3:00 PM.

Appetizers include carrot-ginger Bisque with crème fraiche and scallions; shrimp beignets with guacamole and lime and more. During brunch hours, selections include PB & J French Toast - peanut butter and raspberry jam stuffed brioche French toast with pure maple syrup, two fried eggs and duck fat home fries; and “Breakfast Parisien” - Parisian-style scrambled eggs with bacon, croissant and duck fat home fries. A sampling of entrees available all day include Bacalhau a Portuguesa--Cod filet with olives, capers, onions, fingerling potatoes, fennel, and carrots; and Couscous de Barbes - braised lamb shoulder, merguez, lamb kefta, Moroccan-spices summer vegetable stew, garbanzo beans, couscous,  and harissa-lamb jus.

 

Chef Michelle’s desserts finish the meal with a selection of carrot cake with cream cheese frosting, caramel ice cream, toasted walnuts, crème anglaise and crispy carrots; lemon ginger butter bar with blueberries and blueberry ice cream; almond mousse with almond cake, strawberries, candied almonds, white chocolate and strawberry sorbet; and Valrhona bittersweet chocolate almond cake with chocolate glaze, raspberry coulis, Valrhona chocolate ice cream and raspberries.

Bastille is open Tuesday through Saturday from 11:30 AM until 10 PM and Sunday 11:30 AM until 9 PM serving brunch, lunch, dinner and all day dining with café and bar menu offered.
