14K to Offer Cherry-Infused Dinner Menu and Martini Flights, Now Through April 1
Spring has sprung in Washington DC and The Hamilton Hotel D.C. is celebrating the National Cherry Blossom Festival with dining specials at its signature restaurant 14K. Visitors are invited to enjoy Cherry Blossom-inspired mixology and cuisine in an exclusive prix-fixe dinner and martini flight menu.
The 14K restaurant and lounge is one of the city’s hot spots for spring with its outdoor patio seating overlooking Franklin Square Park. Specials for the Cherry Blossom Festival will be offered now through April 1 from 4 PM to 10 PM nightly. Guests can choose from options in a delectable prix-fixe dinner menu including mini martini flights or just stop in to enjoy an individual martini flight menu. The dinner is priced at $65 per person and the collection of martini flights is priced at $15. The prix-fixe dinner menu follows...
First Course:
• Cherry Blossom Salad with artisanal greens, dried cherries, beech mushrooms, drunken goat cheese, candid pecans, shaved fennel and cherry-infused champagne vinaigrette
• Lobster Bruschetta with traditional garlicky bruschetta herb crostini, Parmesan cheese and cherry balsamic glaze
• Cream of Fennel Soup with chive and truffle oil
Entree:
• Cherry and Bourbon-glazed quail with pancetta charred Brussels sprouts and mascarpone polenta
• 10 oz Veal Chop with Boursin cream of spinach, celery root purée and bada bing cherry gastrique
Dessert:
• Black Forest Cheesecake with an Oreo crust, cherries in Kirsch liquor and chocolate mouse
• Drunken Cherry Cobbler with cherry liquor, vanilla ice cream and drunken cherries
Mini Martini Flight Selections:
• 14K, comprised of gold flakes, bourbon, apple cider and bing cherries
• Cherry Emerson, comprised of bing cherries, sweet vermouth and sweet & sour
• The Cherry Blossom, comprised of vodka, black cherry puree, pineapple juice, triple sec and grenadine
