Logan Movie Review

Hugh Jackman stars in Logan

Eden or the End

Wikipedia Plot: In the near future, a weary Logan (Hugh Jackman) cares for an ailing Professor X (Patrick Stewart) in a hideout on the Mexican border. His attempts to hide from the world and his legacy, however, are up-ended when a young mutant (Dafne Keen) arrives, being pursued by dark forces. Directed by James Mangold.

"It's 2029. Why are we still talking about mutants?" Two words. Logan/Wolverine. Marvel's most interesting character (sorry Spidey) returns in Logan, quite possibly the best X-Men movie ever. Logan's a shell of his former self (gray hair, reading glasses, wounds galore) but his heart (and temper) are as strong as ever. Mangold packs plenty of action, new faces and tender moments into a tried-and-true franchise... changing/evolving as it chugs along. Speaking of new, Keen is absolutely terrific as Laura, a pint-sized Wolverine in sheep's clothing (with mood swings.) Can a spin-off be far behind? I certainly hope so.
