Monthly Dinner Series Celebrates Local Food and Craft Breweries
The Hyatt Regency Crystal City recently launched its “Brews & Bites” monthly dinner series. On the first Thursday of each month, the hotel will partner with a local craft brewery to host a family-style dinner complete with beer pairings and a special presentation from Chef de Cuisine David Carlson. The four-course dinner with beer pairings will be available daily in the hotel’s Cinnabar restaurant.
“Partnering with local craft breweries is just part of our ongoing mission to feature products that are thoughtfully sourced from local purveyors,” stated Carlson. “In addition to local beers, many of the menu items that will be featured during the series include local meats, cheeses and seafood.” He continued, “This series is a wonderful celebration of the many delicious foods our region has to offer.”
“The family-style meals at the beginning of each month, gives our visitors a unique opportunity to spend an informative evening with Chef Carlson and a local brewer,” stated Derrick Morrow, general manager. “This unforgettable culinary experience will illustrate Chef Carlson’s process for developing the perfect pairing menu while introducing our visitors to an array of local foods and craft beers.”
On March 2, Hyatt Regency Crystal City will partner with Atlas Brew Works for the first “Brews & Bites” event. Each event is $40 (not including tax and gratuity) to attend and includes a four-course meal with craft beer pairings. Space is limited and reservations are required to attend.
