From our friends at Chopt Creative Salad Company...

New Menu Highlights Ingredients and Flavors from Spain as Part of Ongoing Destination Series

Chopt Creative Salad Company, the pioneering fast-casual salad destination with over 35 locations throughout the US, is excited to announce the launch of three new globally-inspired salads featuring Spanish ingredients as part of its ongoing Destination series which celebrates various regions of the world through fresh, flavorful and innovative salads.

Chopt, which aims to redefine what Americans think of as fast food, combines global flavors with seasonal ingredients from local purveyors such as Coach Farms for goat cheese, Hot Bread Kitchen for croutons, FreeBird Farms for chicken, Tremblay Apiary for honey, Soom Foods for tahini, among many others, to craft craveable salad combinations and artisan dressings. This next round of Destination salads celebrates the bounty of Spain by highlighting Spanish ingredients such as Iberico cheese, pimentón peppers, piquillo peppers, and Arbequina olive oil.

The Spanish-inspired salads are available from September 14th through November 6th, and include:

• Smoky Spanish Caesar with spicy pimentón FreeBird chicken, caramelized fennel & onion, Iberico cheese, celery, Hot Bread Kitchen croutons, romaine, kale & chicories and pimentón lemon caesar dressing

• Roasted Romesco Grain Bowl with roasted piquillo peppers, Castelvetrano olives, caramelized fennel & onion, English cucumbers, quinoa lentil millet blend, Chopt lettuce blend and almond butter romesco dressing (Vegan)

• Catalan Harvest Plate with spicy pimentón FreeBird chicken, gold & purple beets, roasted squash, quinoa, lentil & millet blend, marinated kale & arugula, freshly grated Iberico cheese and sherry vinegar + California Olive Ranch Arbequina olive oil

“At Chopt, we are constantly inspired by our travels and search the globe for the best ingredients and flavors to bring back to our salads.”  said Chopt co-founder Tony Shure. “Spain is famous for its gastronomy and regional cuisine, and we’re excited to make its bold flavors and ingredients like Iberico cheese from La Mancha, to the rich, smoky flavor of pimentón pepper, available to our customers through our Destination Salads series.”
