Georgetown Announces the "Hoya Metro Madness" Initiative

From our friends at Georgetown Athletics...

The Georgetown University Athletics Department is awarding free tickets to men’s basketball games to any riders affected by Metro’s SafeTrack program as part of the Hoya Metro Madness SafeTrack Savings Program.

Fans can visit WeAreGeorgetown.com/MetroMadness to request up to two (2) tickets to a home game at Verizon Center in the fall.

When placing their request, fans will be asked to identify which Metro lines they take during their commutes. While understanding that some commutes have lengthened due to the repairs, Georgetown Athletics recommends using some of that extra time to request tickets through this promotion.

Fans who take part in this initiative will be notified in November about the game that has been selected and how they can claim their free tickets.

Those who are interested in learning more about special ticket offers are encouraged to sign up for email alerts from Georgetown Athletics. Fans can visit http://WeAreGeorgetown.com/MYHOYAS to manage their email preferences through their online account (fans without an account can create one). Season tickets are expected to go on sale in early August; mini-plans and single game tickets will be available starting this fall.  Please visit WeAreGeorgetown.com or call 202.687.HOYA (4692) for more information.

The SafeTrack Savings Program will allow DC Metro riders to claim free tickets to a Georgetown Basketball Game.
