Beefsteak Introduces Three Additional Locations and Launches Online Ordering

Chef José Andrés' vegetable-forward fast casual offers guests even more ways to get their vegetables

In June 2016, Beefsteak debuted two new locations in the Washington, DC-area with locations in the Tenleytown neighborhood of DC (4531 Wisconsin Avenue, NW) and at Westfield Montgomery Mall in Bethesda, Maryland (7101 Democracy Blvd.) Beefsteak also expanded to Pennsylvania, Pennsylvania with a location at the Penn campus (3417 Spruce Street), marking the first Beefsteak location to open outside of the DC market and the first property in Pennsylvania for Beefsteak's parent company, ThinkFoodGroup.

In addition to these openings, Beefsteak is introducing a new layer of convenience with the launch of a dedicated online ordering platform available at all Washington DC-area locations. This new feature will soon become available via Beefsteak's loyalty app, allowing users to seamlessly earn rewards for each dollar spent in store and online. Beefsteak's online ordering allows diners to get their veggies even faster with more locations and more ways to order - to save time and "Stop the Hangry."

Orders can be placed for takeout up to 24 hours in advance or for immediate pick-up. Guests must allow 10 minutes for orders to be fulfilled and 20 minutes during peak times (Monday-Friday 12 noon - 1:30 PM.) Additionally, this new platform will allow users to save their preferred location and credit card information, and access their order history for a seamless ordering process.

Beefsteak celebrates the unsung power of vegetables and brings them to the center of the plate. The menu, developed by chef José Andrés and his Beefsteak culinary team led by Executive Chef Pat Peterson, features hearty vegetable bowls, with countless options combining flash-prepared vegetables, warm grains like bulgur, house-made sauces such as garlic yogurt, fresh and crunchy finishes and optional meatier toppings. Guests can also choose to swap in leafy greens as the base and turn any veggie bowl into a refreshing salad. With over 20 vegetables to choose from and a variety of grains, leafy greens, sauces and toppings, the possibilities are endless.

Guests can also choose from a selection of composed bowls, such as the popular Kimchi-wa, made with rice, corn, carrot, cabbage, edamame, bok choy, and roasted garlic yogurt sauce, topped with scallions, toasted sesame seeds, corn nuts, kimchi and soy ginger dressing. Also on the menu are seasonal offerings including the beloved Beefsteak Burger made with a thick slice of beefsteak tomato, pickled red onions, sprouts, eggless caper herb mayo, olive oil and sea salt, served on an olive oil brioche bun. Gazpacho is available as a bowl or in a convenient to-go bottle. Vegetable Bowls range from $7.49-$8.49, the specialty sandwich is priced at $4.99 and house-made juices range from $1.99- $3.50.
