Richard Sandoval’s Toro Toro Unveils New Late Night Bar & Lounge Menu with Happy Hour Pricing

Acclaimed Chef and Owner Richard Sandoval's contemporary Pan-Latin steakhouse, Toro Toro, located at 1300 I Street, NW, 20005, is introducing a late night dinner menu available Sunday through Thursday from 11 PM to 1 AM, and on Friday and Saturday from 12 AM to 2 AM. This menu for night owls features creative Pan-Latin small bites prepared by Executive Chef Roberto Hernandez. One can pair the tempting snacks with$6 draft beers such as Modelo Especial and Dos Equis, as well as $6 bottled beers including Corona Extra, Corona Light, Amstel Light, Dos Equis Lager, Bohemia, Heineken, Strongbow Cider, Negra Model, Victoria, Pacifico, and Newcastle Brown Ale. Guests can also enjoy craft cocktails such as Caipirinha with Sao Paulo cachaça, fresh lime, and sugar; Mojito Traditional with Bacardi castillo, fresh mint, and fresh lime; Tinta Roja with red wine, brandy, Licor 43, fresh apple, fresh mango, and orange liqueur, and a Margarita with Sauza Blue, agave nectar, fresh lime, and a Champagne float for additional $2. The featured cocktails are priced at $9 each.

Late night small bites include Classic Choripán with sweet Argentinean chorizo, ciabatta roll, ají amarillo aioli, and vegetable slaw; Beef Alcapurria with plantain-yucca masa, Roseda Farm beef, and roasted rocoto aioli; Short Rib Arepas, corn masa with hoisin sauce, nikkei slaw, and Mexican crema; Pan Con Chicharron with crispy pork belly, kabayaki sauce, roasted sweet potato, and criolla sauce, and Yuca Buñuelos with jalapeño, Oaxaca, and aji verde. These temping snacks range in price from $8 to $10.


Additionally, guests can then show off their dance moves at Toro Toro's 5,000 square-foot upscale modern lounge where a DJ will be spinning Latin, house and top 40 hits on Fridays and Saturdays, from 10 PM to 3 AM.

Toro Toro is open for lunch Monday through Friday, from 11 AM to 3 PM. Dinner is available Monday through Thursday, from 5 PM to 10 PM; Friday, from 5 PM to 12 AM and Saturday, from 6 PM to 12 AM. Weekend brunch is served Saturday and Sunday, from 11 AM to 5 PM. Happy Hour is available at the upstairs bar Monday through Friday, from 3 PM to 8 PM; Saturday, from 3 PM to 10 PM. Happy Hour is also available at the downstairs bar Wednesday through Friday, from 3 PM to 8 PM; Saturday, from 3 PM to 10PM.
