Legal Sea Foods Splashes into Summer with Refreshing New Cocktails

Legal Sea Foodsis pleased to welcome summer’s arrival with new tempting cocktails that stand up to the warmer weather. Currently available in Washington, DC’s four area locations through the end of September, each libation is made from a variety of fresh seasonal ingredients. Pricing ranges from $9 to $12 for the new libations, and Legal Sea Foods renowned Raising the Bar program showcases the innovative take on the cocktail creation effort. Newcomers include the Fun Time Punch, Plantation 3 Star and original dark rums, Pierre Ferrand Ambre Cognac, Citadelle gin, and grape-hibiscus punch; Smoke & Mirrors, Del Maguey Vida Mezcal, peach liqueur, almond, lemon, tonic, and Peychaud’s Bitters; High Tea, Pierre Ferrand Ambre Cognac, Citadelle gin, Montenegro Amaro, and ginger-cardamom black tea, as well as Iced-Irish Coffee with Teeling Small Batch Irish whiskey, cold-brew Mexican organic fair trade coffee, demerara sugar, and cream.

Strawberry Sangria, 11 Skyy Wild Strawberry vodka, Campari, Massenez Crème de Fraise des Bois, Moscato, botanicals, lemon, soda; White Sangria, St. Germain, Skyy Citrus vodka, Sauvignon Blanc, lemonade, lemon-lime soda, and lemon bitters and the Legal Sangria, Spanish red wine, Cruzan Raspberry and Citrus Rums, Merlet Crème de Pêche, lemon-lime soda, and fresh fruit.  One can also sip Legal’s Mai Tai, English Harbour 5 Year Rum, Plantation Original Dark rum, Bols triple sec, almond essence, and lime; the Mexican Mule, Del Maguey Vida mezcal, Patrón Reposado tequila, muddled grapefruit and lime, and ginger beer; The Islander, Plantation 3 Star rum, Plantation Original Dark rum, passion fruit, fresh pineapple, and lime; “Old Fashioned” Old Fashioned, Woodford Reserve bourbon, sugar, orange bitters, and Angostura bitters, Cucumber Cooler, Square One Cucumber vodka, muddled cucumber, lime, lemon-lime soda, and grapefruit bitters, as well as the Fresh Watermelon Crush, which combines American Harvest vodka, simple syrup, and diced watermelon pieces.
