2016 National Maker Faire Photo Recap

The "Greatest Show & Tell on Earth" returned to the University of the District of Columbia this weekend. Over 15,000 attendees (including yours truly) visited the second annual National Maker Faire... a terrific turnout for the Maker Movement, and a rousing kickoff to the National Week of Making (June 17-23.) Nick Cannon (America's Got Talent) was in attendance on Saturday, as was NASA astronaut Col. Benjamin Alvin Drew. Over Saturday and Sunday, there were 160 Maker projects to choose from, with half of those featuring hands-on activities for kids and adults alike. Couldn't make it? Fear not, the World Maker Faire is scheduled for October 1-2 at the New York Hall of Science in Queens; and the National Maker Faire returns to the nation's capital, June 17-18, 2017. We can hardly wait.
