The Majestic Announces Return of Weekend Brunch Following the Launch of Their New Concept and Culinary Team

Alexandria Restaurant Partners (ARP) is pleased to announce that The Majestic, which recently underwent an extensive eight-week renovation and full concept change, will launch Saturday and Sunday brunch service this weekend, on May 28th. Brunch will be served from 11 AM to 4 PM in the intimate 85-seat main dining room and at the bar. Guests can anticipate classic American bistro staples along with brunch items that share a touch of Mediterranean influence. Executive Chef/Proprietor Gaby Hakman’s new menu includes dishes such as the Brûléed Grapefruit with vanilla bean; House-Made Granola with Greek yogurt, berries and honey; Avocado Toast with tomatoes, fresh herbs and poached egg; Fried Chicken & Waffles, cheddar-chive waffles with red chile-honey butter; Dutch Baby, with lemon, ricotta, and blueberries; Egg White Omelette with garden vegetables and goat cheese; the Majestic Breakfast with fingerling hash, served with smoked bacon or turkey sausage; Cheesy Polenta with sautéed greens and poached eggs; Breakfast Sammy with fried egg, smoked bacon and cheese on a Portuguese bun, as well as Eggs in Purgatory with fiery tomatoes.

Also available are a selection of Salads & Sandwiches such as Steak Salad with mint, basil, chile dressing and peanuts; Kale Salad with strawberries, house-made granola, pumpkin seeds and goat cheese; Grilled Veggies sandwich with harissa, kale, and feta; the Spring Chicken Salad with eggs, avocado, and croutons; the Majestic Burger with smoked gouda and bacon-onion jam, and the Cubano Sandwich, with pork shoulder and house pickles. An assortment of sides will also available and include Smoked Bacon; Fingerling Hash; Chunky Monkey Buns; Cheesy Polenta and Turkey Sausage. Brunch menu items range in price from $6 to $18.


For the perfect beverage pairing at The Majestic, brunch-goers can enjoy craft cocktails such as Blackberry Herb Royale with Prosecco, blackberry and rosemary syrups; Life’s A Peach with Prosecco, mango and peach syrups, as well as the Vitamin A with Royal Combier cognac, carrot juice, ginger beer, angostura bitters and lemon juice. Brunch cocktails range in price from $9 to $13.

The Majestic, located at 911 King Street in Alexandria, Virginia, 22314, known as an iconic dining spot will be serving lunch starting Tuesday, May 31, with regular offerings each Monday through Friday, from 11:30 AM to 4 PM. Dinner is served Sunday through Thursday, from 4 PM to 11 PM and Friday & Saturday, from 4 PM to 12 Midnight. Happy Hour is also available Monday through Friday, from 4 PM to 7 PM.
