Kristin Hannah Will Be Featured at The Hay-Adams Upcoming Author Series on June 22nd for Her New Novel, The Nightingale

On June 22nd, the award-winning Hay-Adams, located steps from the White House at 800 16th Street, NW, will host its next Author Series luncheon honoring Kristin Hannah to discuss her latest work, The Nightingale. The Hay-Adams Author Series, where literary crowds honor literary masters, is an on-going event which hosts outstanding writers in a historic setting, directly overlooking the White House at Top of The Hay. One will enjoy exceptional food, drink and lively conversation. Tickets are priced at $85 per person (all inclusive), which includes a three-course, prix fixe menu with wine pairings. The menu, themed around the book, will be created by Vice President & General Manager Hans Bruland working closely with newly appointed Executive Chef Nicolas Legret.

WHO: Kristin Hannah is an award-winning and bestselling author of more than 20 novels including Winter Garden, True Colors, and the blockbuster Firefly Lane. Her novel Home Front has been optioned for the big-screen by 1492 Films (the same company which produced the Oscar-nominated movie, The Help) with Chris Columbus named as director. Her latest book, The Nightingale, is a singular departure, taking her into the dramatic history of France during the Second World War.

Kristin Hannah was born in Southern California and grew up a child of the beach, making sand castles and playing in the surf. When she was eight years old, her father drove the family to Western Washington, which she has called home ever since. Aside from her highly successful writing career, she is a dedicated wife and mother.
