Bastille Announces New Menu and Extended Hours
Old Town’s favorite French Dining spot, Bastille, located in the Asher at 606 N. Fayette Street (corner of Pendleton and Fayette, and two blocks from Braddock Road Metro) will open seven days a week, beginning the first week in May. Options will include all day dining and ‘French Quickie’ menu at the bar and café and new lunch and dinner options in the dining room and on the restaurant’s spacious patio.
Bastille’s new menu includes some favorites from their former Royal Street location fused with the contemporary French cuisine that is Chefs Christophe and Michelle Poteaux’s signature. The “French Quickie” menu, served from 11:30 AM - 4 PM, features special daily selections of beer and wine along with a variety of savory and sweet dishes - any two (including beer or wine as one of the options) for $15.95. It’s a perfect light meal or snack for those interested in a fast meal. A variety of small plates are available at the café and bar including fresh oysters, Kefta Filet Mignon Tartare, Pommes frites and mussels, among the offerings.

At dinner, options run from a three-course prixe fixe ($39) and a four ($49) and five ($59) course gourmand menu with optional wine pairings. All dishes are also available a la carte. Classic dishes such as Magret de Canard a l’Orange, Carré d’Agneau persillade and Steak au Poivre are just a few of the selections on the menu.
