The festival, which regularly draws around 8,000 music fans, will be held on September 10 in Gateway Park (1300 Lee Highway, Arlington, VA) and is free to attend. This year’s lineup:

1:00 - 2:00 PM - AKUA ALLRICH: A unique jazz vocalist and DC-native with blues and soul musical roots. All About Jazz described her music as “(Flowing) with a free, natural energy as engaging as her equally ingenuous personality.”

He has played concerts and festivals all over the world, including the New Orleans Jazz Festival, Montreal Jazz Festival, FIFA World Cup in South Africa, and Dave Matthews Band Festival. His 2011 release, “The Secret,” features Dave Matthews, Derek Trucks and jazz legend John Scofield.

3:50 - 5:00 PM - GLEN DAVID ANDREWS BAND: The “Crown Prince of Treme” and one of New Orleans’ most charismatic live performers, the jazz trombonist has headlined the New Orleans Jazz Festival, Lincoln Center, Chicago Folk and Roots Festival, Houston International Festival and more. Glen hails from a renowned family of musicians, including cousin Troy “Trombone Shorty” Andrews, and was featured in David Simon’s HBO series “Treme.”

5:30 - 7:00 PM - GRUPO FANTASMA: A Grammy award-winning 10-piece ensemble from Austin playing Latin-infused funk, jazz and rock with energetic and danceable rhythms.
