From our friends at the Embassy Row Hotel...
With experiential travel on the rise, it’s become crucial for hotels to offer guests authentic activities to connect with the local community. This summer, The Embassy Row Hotel in Washington, DC has partnered with the @IGDC Instagram community to launch an Instagram Walking Tour of the Dupont Circle neighborhood.
The series will kick-off on Friday, May 6 in conjunction with First Friday Dupont neighborhood art walk and will run through the end of August. Each month, four different areas in Dupont Circle will be designated on complimentary maps as the top “Instagrammable” spots for travelers (and locals!) to capture for their channels. Each location and featured image was taken by locals of the area and handpicked by @IGDC. Some of the featured spots include The Phillips Collection, Woodrow Wilson House, Gandhi statue, Brass Band at the metro and the Spanish Steps.
Through the series, guests will have the opportunity to explore local favorites and landmarks for a true understanding of the destination.
