Celebrate National Garlic Day, April 19th at Carmine's

From our friends at Carmine's...

Garlic is pretty much a staple at Carmine’s with the bulb’s pungent flavor found in most of the Southern Italian menu dishes.

But on National Garlic Day, April 19, the Penn Quarter eatery will up the ante with a garlic cocktail. Taking a spin on the Gibson, Carmine’s will feature a Pickled Garlic Martini.

Shaken until icy cold, the martini (made with either vodka or gin) is garnished with house-made pickled garlic, and topped with a basil leaf. Price $11.

Also on the menu is Half and Half Garlic Bread with Mozzarella cheese melted on Carmine’s signature garlic bread, that's then topped with grated Romano cheese.

Best garlic antidote... All of Carmine’s restrooms have mouthwash dispensers!
