Justin Toft brings over ten years of experience managing beverage programs and restaurant operations to his role as manager at Burtons Grill in Alexandria, where he oversees daily operations of the bar program. A native of Charlottesville, Virginia, Toft began working for Burtons Grill in October of 2014 as a manager of their new Charlottesville location. Then in January of 2016, he moved with his wife to begin the hiring and training for the opening team of Burtons Grill in Alexandria. Toft is passionate about providing exceptional service through his team, and he loves the "never a dull moment" variety of working in hospitality. The creativity involved in running the bar program is especially satisfying for him.
Chris Little brings years of experience to the position, with time spent building and perfecting what he calls a “customizable bar experience.” Little started his bar career at Outback Steakhouse in 1996. Squeezing fresh juices, crafting cocktails to order and listening to the needs of the guests were Little’s main priorities. He was able to really hone this concept when he moved on to the Midway Lodge in Stow, VT in 2003. In 2006, Little joined the Burtons Grill team as a manager at the Hingham, MA location, and in 2008 he took on the role as beverage manager for the company, developing a customizable program for each community that Burtons Grill joins as the company expands.

More about the work of SFAC:
SFAC is primarily assisting soldiers who are suffering from TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury), PTSD, and aiding ST (soldiers in transition), which is soldiers transitioning to life both to and from the battlefield. The SFAC sponsors events and programs that help reintegrate these soldiers back into society. The money sponsors events as simple as karaoke night, to developing critical financial skills and assistance enrolling in financial assistance programs. The affected soldiers frequently have limited mobility and are not returning to the workforce. Just getting these soldiers out of the house makes a tremendous impact on their survival after returning from the battlefield. The SFAC is streamlining processes that would otherwise be monumental for these injured soldiers. They bring emotional, financial, social counselors, and representatives from government agencies such as social security right on base.
Another aspect of SFAC is their work with the caregivers for the soldiers. Caregivers include spouses, family members or volunteers who assist affected soldiers with daily tasks. Until recently, caregivers were often overlooked, without regard for the emotional and psychological stress they undergo. SFAC took the lead on addressing this issue with counseling, massages, and babysitting to give caregivers some relief.
