Beer Lovers Rejoice: Craft Beer & Music Celebration Takes Place June 11 in Leesburg, Virginia

Americana Beer Fest, the craft beer festival founded by Brews for the Brave, Inc., a non-profit dedicated to raising funding for regional veteran organizations, will stage its first Washington, DC area festival on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at Morven Park in Leesburg, Virginia. The festival, now in its second year, is a beer lover’s dream, combining live music from American folk and bluegrass artists with food, crafts, games and more than 180 styles of craft beer from veteran-owned, local DC, Maryland and Virginia based breweries, as well as national favorites. The scenic Morven Park is the perfect home for this ideal summer day celebrating homegrown beer and music, all while toasting our veterans.

“We started the Americana Beer Fest as a way to bring folks together to showcase the connection between the craft beer industry and the arts, and as an outlet to pay tribute to our veterans,” said Kristina Geske, creator of Americana Beer Fest. “This year’s festival will showcase the fine craft beer coming out of the DMV, and guests will enjoy a main stage chock full of great music from nationally-touring musicians, as well as unlimited samplings of more than 180 craft brews from area favorites.”
