Slate presents a Pajama Party Brunch on New Year's Day
New Year’s Eve is full of revelers, cocktails, late hours and perhaps a little bit of the ‘party.’ Maybe too much of the party… maybe not. Whatever the case, New Year’s Day often brings a slight headache, some sleepiness and a need to wind down. Really, who wants to get out of their PJs, make breakfast or lunch and put on ‘civvies’ if one doesn’t have to?
Slate Wine Bar + Bistro to the rescue. On January 1, 2016, from 11 AM - 5 PM, Slate invites guests to leave their trousers, shirts, belts, etc. at home and come on out in their jammies, bathrobes, curlers, onesies... whatever. No dress code enforced, in this ‘morning after’ themed dining event. After all, the staff is coming out in their morning-after splendor: Why shouldn’t the guests?
Slate’s first annual Pajama Party Brunch includes a choice of 2 courses for $18 with optional wine pairing an additional $10 and an option of an additional $15 for bottomless Mimosas. The menu includes...
Donut Holes or Duck Breast Egg Rolls as a first course and for a second course, a choice of Vanilla Bean French Toast Brioche with cinnamon and bacon or sausage; Bistro Benedict Canadian Ham, Hollandaise and home Fries; Chicken + Waffles; Slate’s Cheeseburger with Herb Mayo, LTO, Cheddar or Gruyere, Fries or Salad; or Steak & Eggs - Filet Mignon, 2 Eggs any style and home fries (at an additional $4) Dessert is also available at a supplementary $5 with $5 for this wine pairing. There is a choice of Tres Leches Cake or Warm Fudge Brownie Served with Vanilla Ice Cream.
An early morning just out of bed and “come as you are” is key.
