Secret Chopsticks Debuts Executive Lunch Service, December 14th

Secret Chopsticks, the 120-seat restaurant located in the Rosslyn neighborhood of Arlington, Virginia at 1850 Fort Myer Drive, will debut its executive lunch service beginning December 14.  Guests can look forward to authentic, healthy Chinese fare presented in a contemporary way incorporating fresh, locally sourced ingredients whenever possible, created by Executive Chef Robin Li and Dim Sum Chef Tanya Wang. Each dish is carefully designed and presented as a balanced plate. Guests can enjoy an a la carte lunch experience in the 50-seat bar/lounge, or opt to dine in the 70-seat main dining room. The new contemporary Chinese lunch menu will be served Monday through Friday, from 11:30 AM to 3 PM.

For lunch, guests can choose from artful entrĂ©es and dim sum selections such as Sweet and Sour Chicken; Beef braised in tomato sauce; Spicy Tofu with minced pork; Tomato with Shrimp & Eggs; Mo Shu Pork; Vegetarian Stuffed Bun; Beef Pot Sticker; Pork Dumpling with Spicy Sauce; Crispy Spring Roll, or the Dim Sum Platter including pot sticker, dumpling, spring roll, and ham pastry. Entrees are priced at $19.99 and include a pickle salad and dessert, with choice of steamed white or black rice. Dim Sum is priced at $14.99 and includes a pickle salad and dessert.


Diners can also choose from a la carte sides such as Steamed White Rice and Black Rice; Bacon Fried Rice; YangZhou Fried Rice; Chicken Rice Soup; Egg Drop Soup, and Pickle Salad. For a sweet ending to lunch, guests can choose from Chinese confections such as Date Cake and Sticky Rice Pudding. A la carte sides range in price from $2 to $8. Dessert is priced at $4.99.

For the perfect pairing, the beverage program at Secret Chopsticks, spearheaded by General Manager Ralph M. Villar, offers an eclectic wine list emphasizing the major regions of the world including Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, Austria, New Zealand, Argentina, Germany, California, Washington, Oregon and Virginia. 20 wines are available by the glass ranging in price from $10 to $18 for a six-ounce pour. Additionally, five house-made, specialty cocktails are available showcasing Asian-inspired flavors, prepared by house Craftender Benjamin Flanagan. SpecialtyCocktails are priced from $12 to $20 each.

Secret Chopsticks is located at 1850 Fort Myer Drive, Arlington, Virginia 22209. The restaurant is situated 200 meters (656 feet) from the Rosslyn Metro Station accessible on the Orange, Blue and Silver Lines. Lunch is available Monday through Friday from 11:30 AM to 3 PM. Dinner will be available Sunday through Thursday, from 5:30 PM to 9:30 PM; Friday and Saturday, from 5 PM to 12 AM.
