Praline Bakery & Bistro debuts second Thursday tasting series

Former White House pastry kitchen alumns Susan Limb and Patrick Musel, owners of Praline Bakery & Bistro in Bethesda, announce the debut of second Thursday tastings. These events will take place the second Thursday of every month, and feature a variety of food and libations.

The first second Thursday event will take place on December 10 at 6 PM. Just in time for the holidays, caviar and bubbles will be highlighted. The menu will include four types of American caviar - Salmon Roe, Hackleback Sturgeon, Bowfin Choupique and Smoked Caviar, with Bellini and Créme Fraîche. Paired with Crémant d'Alsace Brut Rosé, Daniel Pardiac Blanc de Blanc and Prosecco Riondo. This tasting is priced at $45 per person.

Next up, on January 14, and will feature Choucroute and Beer at $40 per person. Future pairings will include a Valentine’s Aphrodisiac pairing in February; Whiskey and Irish cheeses in March; and April, a "Tax Cocktail" pairing.

Praline Bakery & Bistro is located in The Shops at Sumner Place at 4611 Sangamore Road in Bethesda. It is open for lunch Monday-Friday from 11 AM to 2:30 PM; Dinner daily from 5-9:30 PM and for Saturday & Sunday brunch from 10 AM to 3 PM.
