DC Harvest Announces New Year's Eve Menu

From our friends at DC Harvest...

For the second year in a row, DC Harvest will be serving up a delicious and entertaining evening that won’t bust your belt or break the bank! Attendees can expect a night punctuated with a series of surprises including a complimentary amuse bouche upon an arrival and a champagne toast at midnight.

Priced at $59/person with wine and/or cocktail pairings available for an additional charge, guests will enjoy a three course meal that promises to be as inventive as it is memorable. Each course will feature numerous options for guests to choose from, making the entire dining experience a customized one that caters to the tastes of each guest. At least one vegetarian dish will be offered in each course.

Highlights will include items like Red Snapper “Banh Mi” made with Vietnamese Sausage, Pickled Daikon & Cilantro, Herb Roasted Rack of Lamb served with a Red Wine Red Cabbage Puree, Roasted Sunchokes & Haricots Verts and Duck Egg Raviolo in a Pecan Brown Butter topped with Oregon Black Truffles.

One particularly tantalizing dessert option will be Chef/Owner Arthur Ringel’s re-interpretation of his favorite candy bar, the Watchamacallit, which will feature peanut butter crisp, salted caramel, chocolate ganache, honey roasted peanut crumble and a roasted banana purée.

For those looking to make ringing in 2016 a family affair, DC Harvest’s tasty and wholesome kids’ menu will also be available. By forgoing the fried, processed options on most children’s menu, parents can feel great about serving their little ones items like Petite Grilled Steak with Roasted Fingerling Sweet Potatoes, House-Made Pasta with EVOO and Turkey Breast with Seasonal Vegetables - each priced at $10.
