Rockville Town Square Hosts Holiday Open House and Tree Lighting, December 3rd

Federal Realty Investment Trust invites the community to celebrate the holidays at Rockville Town Square with a ceremonial holiday tree lighting event on Thursday, December 3rd starting at 6:30 PM. Nikki Burdine, WUSA9’s 9 and Shine morning show reporter, will host this year’s event and lead guests, including guest of honor Mayor Bridget Newton, in the traditional holiday tree lighting countdown. The community is invited to enjoy photos with Santa, live holiday performances, ice-skating performances, and warm beverages and holiday treats for purchase, provided by Dawson’s Market. Horse & carriage rides will also be available for guests who bring non-perishable goods or a five dollar monetary donation for Manna Food Center, a nonprofit fighting hunger in Montgomery County.
