Stanford Grill to Open Monday in Rockville

A Favorite on the Suburban Maryland Business Scene to Open Second Location in September

The Blueridge Restaurant Group will debut its newest Stanford Grill location on Monday, September 28 in Tower Oaks. This new location will bring Stanford Grill’s upscale casual dining concept to 2000 Tower Oaks Boulevard.

Stanford Grill’s menu reemphasizes the first location’s commitment to fresh ingredients and skillful craftsmanship. The open kitchen and bakery invites guests to see their meals being carefully prepared. Executive Chef Sean Kinoshita, the former executive chef at the iconic Tao Asian Bistro in Las Vegas, is eager to bring exceptional American and Japanese dishes to Rockville guests. The menu combines classics like seared crab cakes and rotisserie chicken with adventurous options like sushi prepared with yellowtail and jalapeño.

The bold menu features Stanford Grill specialties like Seafood Marinara, perfectly sautéed shrimp and scallops in a light marinara sauce served over penne pasta, and Scottish Salmon filleted in-house served with house-made chef’s dressing and tabbouleh. The restaurant’s French Dip Au Jus, served on a house-made baguette with thinly sliced slow roasted prime rib, is sure to become a crowd favorite. As no meal is complete without dessert, Head Baker Christian Haug is serving up freshly made treats for everyone. Haug’s key lime pie, bread pudding and seasonal cheesecakes will delight guests with their rich flavor.

Business meetings and gatherings will never be the same as the restaurant offers a private dining room comfortably accommodating 24 and equipped with a modern A/V system. Stanford Grill generously seats 300 guests in its expansive dining room featuring sleek wooden décor, beautiful banquettes and floor-to-ceiling windows. The patio, open year-round, offers seats for guests to enjoy their meal while experiencing the changing seasons.

Lunch and dinner are served Monday through Thursday from 11 AM to 10 PM, Friday through Saturday from 11 AM to 11 PM with Sunday brunch served from 10 AM to 2 PM and dinner until 10 PM. For more information or for reservations, call (240) 582-1000.
