Maryland Live! Casino to Host World Poker Tour for First-Ever Maryland Appearance, September 24-29
WPT Maryland Festival Features $7,500 Post-Lim High Roller, Four Mega Satellite Tournaments and Appearances by World Poker Celebrities
Maryland Live! Casino will host the first-ever WORLD POKER TOUR (WPT) in the State of Maryland September 24-29. The WPT is one of the biggest poker tours in the world and the premier name for internationally televised gaming and entertainment, broadcasted in more than 150 countries worldwide.

Maryland Live! kicks off the WPT Season XIV Main Event on September 25 and features a $3,500 buy-in with two starting flights. Players can enter twice on each starting day for a maximum of four total entries. Those who bag chips at the end of both Day 1A and Day 1B will return for Day 2 with their largest stack.
World Poker Tour cast members making an appearance at the WPT Maryland Festival will include: Raw Deal Analyst, Tony Dunst; WPT Executive Tournament Director, Matt Savage; and Royal Flush Girls, Marilyn Comiskey and Raysa Peres.
In addition, four mega-satellites to WPT Maryland are scheduled for September 22, 23, and 24 at Maryland Live! Casino. A No-Limit Hold ‘Em Tournament, as well as High Roller, Pot-Limit Omaha and Knockout Bounty Turbo events will also take place over the course of the Tour’s Maryland stop.
