GDCD Adds "The Pontiff," a Special for the Papal Visit to the White House, Week of September 21st
GCDC, Washington’s first grilled cheese-centric restaurant and bar, is adding a special menu item in honor of Pope Francis’ visit to Washington, DC. Inspired by his Argentinian background, GCDC will be creating The Pontiff at GCDC: a marinated ribeye & provolone grilled cheese sandwich with a chimichurri sauce on ciabatta. This will be available during lunch hours (11 AM - 3 PM) for $10 or in the evening (4-9 PM) with a choice of a side for $14. Also available is an Argentinian Malbec Punto Final 2014 from ReNacer for $12/glass or $45/bottle.
Located only a half a block from the White House, the GCDC patio will be open for patrons hoping to catch a glimpse of the Pope!
