Slate Celebrates Its' Third Anniversary

From our friends at Slate Wine Bar + Bistro...

This September marks three years of business for Slate Wine Bar + Bistro. Since the modern-day traditional third anniversary gift is crystal or glass, Slate will be celebrating by filling a glass with complementary bubbles for each dinner guest.

In Latin, it’s "omne trium perfectum." In English, “good things come in threes.” On September 9th, from 4-11 PM, guests have the dining option of a special third year anniversary three course dinner menu at $33 and bottles of wine at half price. Diners will receive a complimentary glass of celebratory bubbly with every meal.

Slate’s wine list has over 170 reds, whites, rosés and bubbles from around the world, and seven or more flight choices daily. Chef/owner Danny Lledó’s special Personal Cellar Selections, limited edition bottles from his own wine cellar are offered at minimal mark-up, allowing guests the option of tasting extraordinary vintages, and personal tastings are conducted monthly. Artisan and classic cocktails are also available, as well as a variety of beer.

The wines pair perfectly with menu selections such as duck breast egg rolls, Paella, tuna steak burgers and more. Prix fixe menus include three courses at $35; three courses with wine pairing at $55; five course at $55; and five course with wine pairings at $80.

Slate is located at 2404 Wisconsin Avenue, NW and is open for lunch, dinner and brunch Monday-Thursday 11:30 AM - 10 PM; Friday-Saturday, 11:30 AM - Midnight; and Sunday, 11 AM - 9 PM. For further information and reservations, call (202) 333-4304 or log into slatewinebar.com.
