Bethesda Outdoor Movies Returns July 21-25

See The Imitation Game (for FREE) Saturday, July 25th

One of the best kept secrets in the DMV is the myriad of FREE outdoor film festivals throughout the summer. Bethesda plays home to one of the best: Bethesda Outdoor Movies returns in less than two weeks for "five nights of blockbuster hits," beginning Tuesday night, July 21st at Woodmont Triangle (at the corner of Norfolk & Auburn Avenues.) Movies start at 9 PM, and you're encouraged to bring your own lawn chairs (for comfort, don't you know.) There's tons of affordable fast food (and not so fast, if you're so inclined) nearby... just in case you forget your picnic basket.

Click here for directions, and remember... the Bethesda Circulator (also FREE) stops right outside the "main entrance." Movies are family-friendly too (warning: lots of kids, LOL.)

Here's the lineup for this year's 10th annual festival...

Tuesday, July 21st: Sixteen Candles, 1984, 93 minutes

Wednesday, July 22nd: Chef, 2014, 114 minutes

Thursday, July 23rd: The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1, 2014, 123 minutes

Friday, July 24th: Mrs. Doubtfire, 2003, 125 minutes

Saturday, July 25th: The Imitation Game, 2014, 114 minutes
