More Than "Just a Tall Tale"
IMDb Plot: Armed with a super-suit with the astonishing ability to shrink in scale but increase in strength, con-man Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) must embrace his inner hero and help his mentor, Dr. Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) plan and pull off a heist that will save the world.
Douglas remarks, "I think we found a guy." Truth is, Marvel may have found another franchise. Ant-Man is 20 times better than I thought it would be... a playful addition to the Marvel empire, that harkens back to the original Spider-Man and Iron Man (before CGI took over Hollywood.) Don't get me wrong: It's packed with impressive visuals, but it's the personalities and storyline that drive Ant-Man. Rudd's fun, Michael Peña's hilarious and Douglas... awesome as ever. Actually gets better, as it progresses. Let's hope the sequel stays grounded; but crazy as it sounds, this one might be a keeper.
