Ted's back in Seth MacFarlane's Ted 2 |
You May Kiss the Bear
IMDb Plot: Newlywed couple Ted and Tami-Lynn want to have a baby, but in order to qualify to be a parent, Ted will have to prove he's a person in a court of law.
I was prepared to pan Seth MacFarlane's Ted 2; but despite its many flaws (too long, too random, even more Flash Gordon) this movie is laugh-out-loud hilarious... in bits and pieces. MacFarlane throws tons of jokes at his audience (a la Mel Brooks, but more vulgar) and the ones that stick (Jay Leno & Liam Neeson cameos, "Fresh cakes," and a side-splitting trip to the sperm bank) are worth double the price of admission. Amanda Seyfried (Gollum jokes notwithstanding) doesn't add much; but it's easy to understand why, "America doesn't give a shit about anything." Sometimes, that's a good thing.
