San Andreas Movie Review

Dwayne Johnson stars in San Andreas

Rock Beats Scissors Earthquake

IMDb Plot: In the aftermath of a massive earthquake in California, a rescue-chopper pilot (Dwayne Johnson) makes a dangerous journey across the state in order to rescue his estranged daughter (Alexandra Daddario.) (Directed by Brad Peyton.)

Given the choice between a millionaire developer and The Rock, I imagine every woman in the world would pick Johnson. If not, have them watch San Andreas (and they will.) Johnson travels by boat, helicopter, plane and even stolen truck to save his wife & daughter, dropping jaws along the way. Peyton's film is chockfull of spectacular visuals (Hoover Dam, San Francisco tsunami) fast-paced and funny, "It's been a while since I got you to second base," and for the most part, believable. What more can you ask for, from a disaster movie? 10.0 on the Richter fun scale.
