City Tap House to Host A Tap Takeover with Wicked Weed Brewing and New Belgium Brewing on Saturday, June 6th

City Tap House, the craft beer-focused restaurant located at 901 9th Street, NW will host a Wicked Weed Brewing & New Belgium Brewing Tap Takeover on Saturday, June 6th from 7 PM to Close. City Tap House will feature 10 draft lines from New Belgium Brewing out of Ft. Collins, Colorado, and 10 draft lines from Wicked Weed Brewing out of Asheville, North Carolina. Standouts from New Belgium Brewing will include Fat Tire Amber Ale, Slow Ride Session IPA, Le Terroir Dry Hopped Sour Ale, Sunshine Wheat, Hop Tart (Hop Kitchen), Transatlantique Kriek, Cocoa Molé, Ranger IPA, Pear Ginger Beer, and Snapshot Wheat.

Beers not to be missed from Wicked Weed Brewing include Freak of Nature DIPA; Hop Burglar IPA; Imperial Coolcumber; XXXI Pineapple Mango Saison; Oblivion Sour Red; Black Angel Cherry Sour; Genesis Blonde Sour; Bretticent; Wicked Weed New Belgium Tributary, and one surprise beer yet to be named. Beer fans won’t want to miss the exclusive opportunity to sample Wicked Weed Brewing’s craft big-flavor, hop-forward beers that are not yet available in Washington, DC. Prices range from $6 to $13 per draft. Additionally, representatives from both breweries will be on hand throughout the evening.

For the perfect pairing, Culinary Director Brian Cooke has created two food specials, which will be available in addition to their regular a la carte menu. The Fried Pulled Pork Mac & Cheese with BBQ ranch will be available for $9, and the North Carolina Pulled Pork Shoulder Sandwich served on a potato bun with coleslaw, BBQ sauce, bourbon-barrel aged stout baked beans, and hush puppies will be priced at $15.
