Author Göran Rosenberg will discuss his new book, A Brief Stop on the Road from Auschwitz at the House of Sweden on April 22nd at 7:00 PM. This shattering memoir by Swedish author and journalist Göran Rosenberg tells the story of his parents who survived the Holocaust and then struggled to rebuild their shattered lives in a small Swedish city.
The book focuses on the damage caused when a human being is not seen or acknowledged for what he/she has endured and overcome. The book, recently translated into English, is a winner of the prestigious August Prize.
