Helen Hayes Award Winner Tom Teasley will play an original score to German visionary artist Lotte Reiniger's film The Adventures of Prince Achmed. While travelling, he falls in love with the beautiful Princess Peri Banu, and must defeat an army of demons to win her heart.

Avenue Q
Music and lyrics by Robert Lopez & Jeff Marx. Book by Jeff Whitty.
Based on an original concept by Robert Lopez and Jeff Marx.

Directed by Allison Arkell Stockman. October 22 - November 23, 2015

Avenue Q is a laugh out loud musical that tells the timeless story of Princeton, a bright-eyed college grad who comes to New York City with big dreams and a tiny bank account. He moves into a shabby apartment all the way out on Avenue Q, a neighborhood full of mischievous and raunchy puppets, as well as other colorful characters. Together they struggle to find jobs, dates and their ever-elusive purpose in life.

Avenue Q is the Tony Award Winner for Best Musical, Best Score, and Best Book.

Equus
By Peter Shaffer

Directed by Amber McGinnis Jackson. January 14 - February 14, 2016

Equus is a remarkable exploration of the dark passions found deep in our human nature, and modern society's efforts to control them. Alan Strang is a troubled teenager whose dangerous obsession with horses leads him to commit an unspeakable act of violence. Psychiatrist Martin Dysart strives to understand the motivation behind Alan's brutality, and finds himself drawn in by the devotion and desire that fuel his young patient.

Equus is the winner of the Tony Award and the Drama Desk Award for Best Play.

Journey to the West
By Mary Zimmerman

Directed by Allison Arkell Stockman, with live music by Tom Teasley. April 21 - May 22, 2016

Journey to the West is a brilliant adaptation of an ancient Chinese novel about a Buddhist monk who travels from China to India in search of sacred scriptures. A rambunctious monkey, an insatiable pig and a formidable river monster join Tripitaka, the monk, on his travels and help him overcome temptations and traps. Energetic comedy, lyrical poetry, and clever satire intertwine in this epic adventure about the human search for enlightenment.

Mary Zimmerman is the winner of a Tony Award and a MacArthur Fellowship and Genius Grant.
