The Atlantic City Alliance will present the “DO AC Entertainment Capital of the Jersey Shore Fireworks” July 4th weekend. The two fireworks shows are funded by the casinos through the Alliance for Atlantic City Foundation with support from the City of Atlantic City and the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority (CRDA) and produced by Pyro Spectaculars by Souza. The first show will be on two ocean barges and viewable along the beach and Boardwalk on Friday, July 3 at 9:30 PM. The second show will be in the Marina District on Saturday, July 4 at 9:30 PM.

Each show will be 15 minutes long and will be choreographed to music. The shows will begin with a reading of the Declaration of Independence and will include other famous quotes from notable Americans, followed by popular celebratory music by artists performing in Atlantic City. Ending with the patriotic finale of “Stars and Stripes Forever” the John Phillip Souza march.

These unique and brilliant fireworks shows are being created by one of the country’s largest fireworks companies, Pyro Spectaculars by Souza, the presenter of pyrotechnic displays and shows around the world including the Macy's 4th of July Spectacular in New York City.

“Atlantic City’s July 4th fireworks are one of the top five fireworks shows in the country,” proclaimed Jeff Guaracino Atlantic City Alliance Executive Director. “July 4th fireworks support local businesses, draw upwards of 150,000 visitors and help to fill hotels, restaurants, bars and parking lots. We encourage everyone to make your plans and book your reservations now to enjoy this weekend long celebration.”

The show is designed for optimal viewing along the Boardwalk and throughout the Marina. Spectators will set up at one of the many beach bar parties or viewing events, on the Steel Pier, along Atlantic City’s World Famous Boardwalk, in the Marina District or at one of Atlantic City’s luxury casino resorts to take in these stunning fireworks shows. In addition, the casino properties and local business are planning their own specials and entertainment for this celebratory weekend. Visit doatlanticcity.com for more details as they are announced.
