Acclaimed Chef Richard Sandoval’s Popular Restaurants Masa 14 & El Centro D.F. to Host April Patio Parties

Guests can be the first to sample new dishes and cocktails on the restaurant’s expansive patios on April 14th and 21st.

WHAT:  Richard Sandoval's vibrant restaurants Masa 14 and El Centro D.F., with locations in two of DC’s hottest neighborhoods, 14th Street and Georgetown, are excited to host separate patio parties to help kick-off the spring season. Attendees will be the first to sample new additions to their food and cocktail menus. Guests will also be encouraged to vote on their favorite menu items showcased that evening. Both restaurants will announce the winner via social media three days following each events; guests can redeem that menu item on the house with purchase of another entrĂ©e during their next visit.

WHEN:  Both El Centro D.F. locations will be hosting patio kick-off parties on Tuesday, April 14th from 6 PM to 9 PM allowing fans the opportunity to sample new additions to the spring menu.  Standout dishes not to be missed include the Duck Tlayuda Mexican Pizzas; BBQ Shrimp Skewers; Lamb Tacos; Plantain Empanadas, as well as a Beef Cheek Flautas. El Centro’s patio parties are both priced at $25 per person (all inclusive), which includes two drink tickets, and light appetizers throughout the evening. Additionally, fans can enjoy happy hour drink specials throughout the three-hour event, which includes $5 bottled beers such as Dos XX Lager, Dos XX Ambar, Tecate and Corona Light, house red and white wine, new tequila infusions such as Pineapple & Serrano and Watermelon, as well as signature cocktails such as the El Centro Margarita with house-made strawberry and mango puree and Spiked Watermelon Agua Fresca.

Then, on Tuesday, April 21st, fans of Masa 14 are invited to attend a patio party, from 6 PM to 9 PM. The event is priced at $25 per person (all inclusive), and is limited to 75 guests. Guests can also enjoy happy hour drinks throughout the event. Masa 14’s happy hour includes bottles and cans of Corona, Corona Light and Tecate, house red and white wine by the glass, and signature cocktails for just $5 each. Happy Hour cocktails include the Margarita Tradicional with Sauza Blue, simple syrup and fresh lime juice; Mojito Tradicional with Castillo rum, lime, mint and simple syrup, as well as the Strawberry Lemonade with vodka, fresh strawberry puree and lemon juice.
