Predestination Movie Review

Ethan Hawke stars in Predestination

Welcome to the Tribe

Rotten Tomatoes Plot: PREDESTINATION chronicles the life of a Temporal Agent (Ethan Hawke) sent on an intricate series of time-travel journeys designed to prevent future killers from committing their crimes. Now, on his final assignment, the Agent must stop the one criminal that has eluded him throughout time and prevent a devastating attack in which thousands of lives will be lost.

"Time. It catches up with us all: Even those in our line of work." Hawke chases an elusive bomber across time in this surprisingly enthralling Aussie sci-fi thriller. Before you say "Timecop," think again. Predestination is light on action, but BIG on story. It takes a dozen turns (in many directions) showcasing Hawke's immense talents, not to mention relative newcomer Sarah Snook. I admit: It gets a bit far-fetched at the end; but the movie as a whole is slick, smart and thankfully light on cheesy special effects (small budget.) Has an Unbreakable feel to it. Definitely worth your time.
