In honor of the national holiday Meat Week, DC's favorite BBQ joint DCity Smokehouse is offering their popular half-smoke for just $5 (that's $2 off the regular price) throughout the week. The half-smoke sausage is topped with mustard, onions, Smoky Brisket Chili, and a Cheddar & Jack cheese blend smothered between a potato hot dog roll. Featuring the sausage was an easy decision, as the dish recently received some international buzz when BBC Travel named it as the best half-smoke in DC (link). The deal will be offered daily through February 1st.
DCity Smokehouse is also suggesting their Picnic basket package just in time for the big game on Sunday. For $70, you can feed a gang of five with two pounds of pork ribs and tips, 15 pit-smoked wings or a whole chicken, one pound of any meat by the slice (brisket, turkey, chopped pork or pork belly), and five small sides.
